All the views expressed on this blog are mine and mine alone. I intend no offence to anyone and would remind you that reading a book is a very personal experience and that no two people will have an identical reaction to a written tract. I welcome discussion about a book in the comments section but I stand by the reviews, as posted, on each of the books. A blog is an autocracy so I do reserve the right to delete you, ignore you, engage in healthy discussion with you or tell you I love you when we have enjoyed some of the same things.

You may have noticed that I have not included links to any of the books reviewed here. That is deliberate. We all have our favourite book outlets and rather than thrust my preferences down your throat I would rather you simply searched for a book through them.

TO THE AUTHORS: You are much, much braver people than I. Even if I could write I would never be brave enough to let my baby out into the wild for people like me to comment on. If I've loved your book then I hope the review gives you inspiration to carry on. If I didn't have particularly nice things to say about it or you feel I "missed the point" then I apologise but see the first paragraph. I appreciate that the whole process of conceiving the idea and getting it into print is an intensely personal one and you feel protective of your outpourings so I don't mean to belittle or denigrate their ideas or their execution; it just means we aren't on the same page.
